2015 WA Be Active State championship

Dear readers

Yuli's students had a great day at the WA state championships.

Many of her young students did exceptionally well playing above their grades.

Bella won the women's open singles proving she is at 15 years of age, the number 1 female player in WA.

Ryan and Romy were 1st and 2nd in the C div singles beating the adults.

Daphne was C div singles winner again beating the adults. Jasmine Tan was 2nd and Alicia 3rd.

This was despite playing with bleeding and swollen foot. What a trooper.

Xiang and Tyzton were 3rd and 4th respectively in the Open singles.

Edward and Xiang were 2nd in th MD Open with Jasper and Kai Chen 3/4.

Angie playing with Eddie Hung was 1st in the XD Open with Bella and Kai Chen 3rd.

Milain and Jason were 3/4 in the A reserve MD.

Angie was 2nd in the A Reserve Singles.

Ryan Tan was 3/4 in B Grade. Not bad for a 13 year old playing in the adults league.

Alicia was 3rd in the B Grade singles. Also good for a young girl playing against adults.

Janice and Jasmine Tan were 2nd in the adults C grades doubles. Good work girls.

This has shown the dominance of Yuli's young players coming up in the ranks.

Many of these players will be fighting for a place in the WA State Under 15s this weekend. Good luck to them.
